Thank you for another great March show, we are always so grateful for your support month in, month out over the last 9 years.

Below, you'll find all the results along with any feedback provided by the judge. Prize details are included at the bottom of each set of results. Please note that due to customs laws and restrictions, we are unable to ship 1st place prizes to certain countries. However, rosettes can still be mailed.

Rosettes and un-sponsored class prizes for U.K. winners will be shipped automatically by me within two weeks of the show’s closing. Sponsored prizes must be arranged directly with the sponsor, unless otherwise specified. International winners will need to pay a shipping invoice before rosettes and prizes can be sent. Please be aware of customs laws and restrictions that may apply to any additional prizes won.

If you’ve won free entries or credits for Aprils’s show, please remember to claim them before the end of the next show month (April 2025). If you have won free entries or entry credits this will be listed at the bottom of the individual results. You can can clim these directly via our website.

CLASS 3 - BEST CONDITION

Judge's comments: "A huge well done to everyone who entered this class as I felt the condition of all of your horses and ponies was excellent which made judging the class really difficult. The top 3 especially were really close. Here are my top 10:"

1. Amber Scutchings & Skylar - "A wonderful collage of pictures which show cases the excellent condition of Skylar who is bright and alert in them all. Her coat is gleaming and her muscles are well developed. Well done!"

2. Dani Simmers & Cloontuskeret Alex - "Alex is standing alert and his hooves look strong with a defined shape. He also has a healthy body condition. Overall a wonderful picture of a healthy horse."

3. Carolyne Page & Cupido - "Another example of a horse in excellent condition. The shine on his coat especially caught my eye and he has a bright eye. He is a credit to you."

CLASS 5 - JUMPING STARS

Judge's comments: "This was probably the highest standard of class I've ever judged for OHS, with lots of these entries deserving real credit. I am certain that several of these will be winning photos on another day, so do put them in again. The highest placed had the most consistency, with correct technique and obvious ease. Be careful that if you use collages, that all the photos are of the same standard. Several people dropped places because one or two photos weren't as strong, whereas if the weaker ones had been left out, they'd have got the higher rosettes.

Be wary of over-folding - remember the horse won't jump higher if you fold more dramatically! Special mention to Keeley Campling who came 7th, and demonstrates really well why having a secure seat with a sensible 'just enough' fold is important on a bouncy horse! (Well done Keeley!)

Also watch the lower legs swinging back and toppling over the horse's shoulders; shortening the stirrups a couple of holes and keeping your lower leg more secure will help the horse get his shoulders up and make a cleaner jump. A very well done all. "

Judge's comments: "Amazing and amusing pictures in this class! Nice to see all the grey horse owners enter this one (I wonder why!) I really do feel for those who entered and the brushing/cleaning that must have followed. Our horses really do love Mud! How many times do you clean your horse in winter before you give up?!?"

Here are a few things to keep in mind if you didn’t place this time:

Free Entry: If you paid for 2 or more entries this month and didn’t place at all, you can claim 1 FREE entry into a regular £3.50 class of your choice for next month's show.
Second Chance Class, The Judge's Favourite: If you paid for 2 entries and didn’t place, you can also submit an entry into our second chance class.
Newcomers: If you entered the Newcomers class and another paid class but didn’t place in Newcomers, we’ll send you a small token rosette. Please note, that both entries must be under the same competitor name.
International Postal Invoices: We’ll issue postal invoices within two weeks of the show’s end. Please settle these promptly so we can dispatch your prizes without delay.

Shipping Information:

UK Participants: We offer free 2nd class standard postage. If you prefer, you can upgrade to Tracked 24hr or Tracked 48hr delivery at an additional cost, and we’ll issue an invoice for the upgrade.
International Participants: Shipping costs will be based on the size and weight of your parcel. Please ensure shipping is paid for before we can send your items.

Here are your International Shipping Options:

International Standard: This is our default service, which includes compensation for losses up to £20.
International Tracked: Recommended for those who’ve won 5 or more rosettes, this service protects up to £50. If your prize value exceeds £50, we’ll increase coverage to £250.
Signed For: In some regions, this may be the only upgrade option due to local postal regulations.

All parcels will be marked as gifts, with each rosette valued at £3.50. This ensures coverage for remaking the rosettes if necessary, within the limits of the insurance chosen. Please note that participants are responsible for any customs fees.

If you’d prefer to use a different courier, just let us know right away.

Important: International shipping costs are separate from your entry fee, so upgrading your shipping helps ensure that your prizes arrive safely.
