These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") outline the terms governing your use of the onlinehorseshowing.com website ("Website" or "Service") and its associated products and services ("Services"). This Agreement constitutes a legally binding contract between you ("User," "you," or "your") and the operator of this Website ("Operator," "we," "us," or "our").

If you are accessing the Website or Services on behalf of a business or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to this Agreement. In such cases, the terms "User," "you," or "your" will refer to the entity you represent. If you lack such authority or do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, you must not accept this Agreement and are prohibited from accessing or using the Website and Services.

By accessing or using the Website and Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. You also acknowledge that this Agreement constitutes a contract between you and the Operator, governing your use of the Website and Services, even though it is electronic and not physically signed.

By entering any of Online Horse Showing's shows and using our website, you will be agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

1. General Guidelines

Online Horse Showing is an equine-focused event unless explicitly stated otherwise.
While other animals may appear in submitted images, equines must always be the main subject.
Online Horse Showing is a “fun” show and is not affiliated with any breed or showing societies.

2. Participation Disclaimer
Participation is at your own risk. Online Horse Showing is not responsible for any injuries sustained during competition.
Judges’ decisions are final and cannot be contested.
Refunds will not be issued for non-placement or unused entries.

3. Entries and Image Requirements
Entrants must either own the rights to all submitted images or have explicit permission to use them. If we need to clarify image ownership, your photo will not be uploaded until the matter is resolved.
Images featuring watermarks across the subject will not be accepted. Only advertising watermarks are permitted.
Basic digital editing is allowed, such as solid background swaps, but must not alter the horse’s physical characteristics unless explicitly stated in class criteria.
Basic overlays and filters / presets are permitted.
The use of black and white and colour is permitted unless otherwise stated.
Heavily manipulated images are permitted only when specified.
Drawings or AI-generated images are prohibited unless explicitly allowed in the class rules. This includes AI backgrounds and the use of AI apps/image-swapping apps.
Any individual under 16 years of age must have parental or guardian consent to participate.
Entrants must have permission from all individuals featured in their images. Misuse of images may result in an immediate ban.
Entries missing key information, such as the entrant’s full name or the horse’s name, may be rejected.
Social media handles, society names, or additional promotional text will not be displayed. This excludes photographer credit.

4. Classes and Deadlines
Classes with fewer than 10 entries will be extended into the following month.
Entry deadlines may be adjusted at Online Horse Showing’s discretion.
Each horse and owner combination may enter the same class multiple times.
For collage classes, participants must create their collages, as Online Horse Showing will not provide this service.

5. Refunds and Eligibility
Refunds will only be issued at Online Horse Showing’s discretion and will exclude transaction fees.
Free entries and unused loyalty points are non-refundable and hold no monetary value.
If an entry is found ineligible, participants may be asked to reassign their entry to another class or postpone it to the next month’s show.

6. Rosettes and Prizes
Rosettes are not guaranteed upon entry. Availability and designs may change without notice.
Due to GSPR and customs regulations, 1st place prizes cannot be shipped to Northern Ireland or EU countries.
Sponsored class prizes are sent directly by sponsors. Any issues must be addressed with the sponsor directly.
Prizes are not interchangeable and cannot be transferred to another individual. Unclaimed prizes will return to the prize pool.
Rosettes will only be held for six months. Unclaimed rosettes will not be stored beyond this period.

7. Postage and Delivery
UK Entrants: Free 2nd Class delivery is standard. Upgraded delivery options, such as 1st Class or tracked mail, are available at additional cost. Online Horse Showing reserves the right to use an alternate postal service if necessary.
International Entrants: International participants are responsible for covering standard airmail postage. Additional fees may apply for tracked or signed delivery services. Customs charges may apply to international shipments, and participants are responsible for these costs. Rosettes will be declared at their entry value for customs purposes, in compliance with the law. This value cannot be waived.
Online Horse Showing is not responsible for loss or damage during transit. Participants must provide accurate postal addresses, as incorrect details may result in lost items without compensation.

8. Free Entries and Loyalty Points
Free entries are earned under the following conditions: One free entry is provided for every two fully paid entries (excluding charity classes and Everyone's a Winner). Free entries are not valid for “Everyone’s a Winner” or “Second Chance” classes. Free entries must be used within their validity period and cannot be exchanged for other rewards. “Second Chance” entries are only eligible when two or more paid entries fail to place. Winning a free class rosette disqualifies eligibility for the "Second Chance" class.
Loyalty entries are earned at a rate of one point for every £3.50 regular class, paid entry. Loyalty points must be claimed via the Online Horse Showing website. Points are valid for 12 months from the month of the last purchased entry. Loyalty entries cannot be used for charity classes or “Everyone’s a Winner” classes.
When entering for multiple people, separate entry forms are required to allocate loyalty points correctly.

9. Judging and Results
Judging will commence after all entries are uploaded to the website on the specified closing date.
Judges have three days to submit their results, and Online Horse Showing aims to publish results within three business days of receipt.
Judges and their immediate family or close friends are prohibited from entering classes they are judging.
If a participant knows a judge personally, they may be asked to transfer their entry to another class.

10. Code of Conduct
Poor behavior or failure to comply with these terms may result in disqualification or an immediate ban from Online Horse Showing.
Participants are expected to treat judges, sponsors, and event organizers with respect.
All entrants are required to follow the outlined rules to maintain fairness and integrity in the competition.

11. Miscellaneous Provisions
All rosettes are handmade, and slight variations between rosettes are expected.
Participants are responsible for notifying Online Horse Showing of any changes to their address or contact details. Refunds or replacements will not be provided for incorrect information.
Any discrepancies in the points league must be reported to jasmine@onlinehorseshowing.com before rosettes are shipped, as adjustments cannot be made afterward.
Ignoring or violating these terms may result in permanent exclusion from Online Horse Showing.

Violation of any of the above may result in immediate termination of access to the Website and Services.

This Agreement does not transfer ownership of intellectual property from the Operator or third parties to users. All rights, titles, and interests in such property remain exclusively with the Operator.
All trademarks, service marks, logos, and graphics used in connection with the Website and Services are the property of the Operator or its licensors. Other trademarks may belong to third parties. Use of the Website does not grant any license or right to reproduce or use these trademarks.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, business interruption, goodwill, or data.
The aggregate liability of the Operator for all claims arising from the use of the Website and Services is limited to one pound (£1) or the amount paid by the user to the Operator in the one-month period preceding the event giving rise to the liability. This limitation applies regardless of the form of action, including contract, tort, or negligence.

Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold the Operator, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors harmless against all claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
(a) User-generated content;
(b) Use of the Website or Services;
(c) Any willful misconduct or violation of these terms.

Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable. Any invalid provision will be limited or interpreted to the extent necessary to align with applicable laws without altering the original intent of the Agreement.

Dispute Resolution

This Agreement and any disputes related to it are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. All disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United Kingdom. Users agree to waive any right to a jury trial.
The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply to this Agreement.

Changes and Amendments

The Operator reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be effective upon posting to the Website unless specified otherwise. Users will be notified of significant changes through available communication methods. Continued use of the Website and Services constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Website and Services, users acknowledge that they have read and agreed to these terms. If users do not agree to these terms, they are not authorized to access or use the Website or Services.
